Maytag Oven/Range F31 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor circuit is open, preventing temperature measurement.
Common causes
- Broken sensor wire
- Disconnected sensor
- Failed sensor element
How to fix it
- Reset the range by turning off power at the breaker.
- Visually inspect the sensor wire from the oven cavity to the control board for breaks.
- Ensure the sensor connector is firmly plugged in.
- Use a multimeter to check continuity; if open, replace the sensor.
