Maytag Oven/Range F10 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor circuit is open, so the control board cannot read the temperature.
Common causes
- Broken oven temperature sensor wire
- Loose connection at sensor or control board
- Failed sensor
How to fix it
- Reset the oven by turning off power at the breaker for 5 minutes.
- Inspect the sensor wires for breaks or damage, especially where they enter the oven cavity.
- Check that the sensor connector is firmly seated on the control board.
- Measure sensor resistance – if infinite (open), replace the sensor.
⚠ When to call a pro: If the sensor appears intact but resistance is open, replace sensor. If error remains, control board may need service.
