Hotpoint Dryer F2 Error Code
The high-limit safety thermostat has tripped or failed, preventing heating.
Common causes
- Overheating due to restricted airflow
- Faulty thermostat
- Lint buildup on thermostat
How to fix it
- Unplug dryer and locate the high-limit thermostat on the heater housing.
- Check for continuity across the thermostat (should be closed).
- If open, replace and also check for airflow issues.
