Amana Washer F28 Error Code
The washer's temperature sensor is not working correctly.
Common causes
- Faulty temperature sensor (thermistor)
- Loose or damaged wiring to the sensor
- Control board issue
How to fix it
- Unplug the washer, wait 1 minute, and plug back in to reset.
- Check the wiring harness connecting to the temperature sensor (behind the front panel).
- Test the sensor with a multimeter for proper resistance at room temperature (usually ~10k ohms).
