Amana Washer F05 Error Code
The drain pump is not operating properly, often due to a jam or electrical fault.
Common causes
- Foreign object (coin, sock) blocking the pump
- Faulty drain pump motor
- Open or shorted pump wiring
How to fix it
- Unplug the washer and remove the lower access panel.
- Inspect and clean the pump impeller area through the filter opening.
- Check for voltage at the pump connector when the washer tries to drain (requires a multimeter).
