Whirlpool Dryer F03 Error Code
The moisture sensor in the drum is not detecting moisture properly, causing cycles to run too long or short.
Common causes
- Moisture sensor dirty or coated with fabric softener
- Faulty moisture sensor
- Broken wire to sensor
How to fix it
- Clean moisture sensor strips (two metal bars) with fine sandpaper or steel wool.
- Check wiring continuity from sensor to control board.
- Replace moisture sensor if cleaning fails.
