LG Oven/Range F3 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor is shorted (resistance too low).
Common causes
- Faulty oven temperature sensor
- Shorted wiring to sensor
- Control board failure
How to fix it
- Unplug range and check sensor resistance; should be above 1000 ohms at room temp.
- Inspect sensor wires for pinching or melting.
⚠ When to call a pro: If resistance is near zero, replace sensor. If short persists, a technician should check the control board.
