Kenmore Washer F20 Error Code
The washer fails to fill with water to the proper level within 8 minutes.
Common causes
- Water supply turned off or low water pressure
- Kinked or frozen inlet hoses
- Clogged inlet valve screens
- Faulty water inlet valve
How to fix it
- Check that both hot and cold water faucets are fully open.
- Straighten any kinks in the fill hoses. If hoses are frozen, thaw them.
- Disconnect hoses from the washer, remove and clean the small screens inside the valve connections.
⚠ When to call a pro: If water flows freely into the hoses but the washer still shows F20, the inlet valve or control board may be faulty. Call a pro.
