Hotpoint Oven/Range F3 Error Code
The oven temperature sensor is shorted, causing inaccurate temperature readings.
Common causes
- Faulty oven temperature sensor
- Pinched or shorted wiring
How to fix it
- Unplug the range.
- Locate the sensor and measure resistance; a shorted sensor will read near 0 ohms.
- If shorted, replace the sensor.
- Check wiring for damage; repair as needed.
