Frigidaire Dryer E68 Error Code
The thermistor (temperature sensor) is faulty or its circuit is open/shorted.
Common causes
- Open or shorted thermistor
- Damaged wiring to thermistor
- Loose connection at control board
How to fix it
- Unplug dryer. Locate thermistor (usually on blower housing or heater box).
- Measure resistance at room temp – should be about 10k-100k ohms; replace if open or shorted.
- Check wiring harness for breaks.
