Electrolux Dryer E62 Error Code

The thermistor that monitors heater temperature is defective, causing overheating or no heat.

Common causes

  • Faulty thermistor
  • Damaged wiring to thermistor
  • Loose connection

How to fix it

  1. Unplug dryer and locate the thermistor near the heating element.
  2. Test thermistor resistance with a multimeter (should change with temperature).
  3. Inspect wiring and connectors.
