The evaporator fan in the freezer is not running properly, reducing cooling efficiency.
Common causes
- Fan motor seized or burned out
- Obstruction by ice or debris
- Faulty fan relay on main board
How to fix it
- Unplug the unit, remove rear freezer panel, and manually spin the fan blade to feel for resistance.
- Clear any ice or debris around the fan.
- Check for 12V DC at the fan connector when the compressor is running.
