Whirlpool Dishwasher F4 Error Code
The dishwasher's temperature sensor (thermistor) is malfunctioning or disconnected.
Common causes
- Faulty thermistor
- Loose connector
- Short circuit in harness
How to fix it
- Unplug dishwasher, locate thermistor (usually near heater), check connector.
- Measure resistance of thermistor at room temperature (should be ~10k-50k ohms).
- Inspect wiring for damage.
