Samsung Oven/Range F25 Error Code

The oven has reached an excessively high temperature (over 650°F) and safety has been triggered.

Common causes

  • Shorted oven temperature sensor
  • Control board relay stuck closed sending continuous heat

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the range immediately and let it cool completely.
  2. Check the oven temperature sensor resistance (should be ~1090 ohms at room temp).
  3. If sensor is shorted (very low resistance), replace sensor.
  4. If sensor checks OK, the control board may have a stuck relay.
⚠ When to call a pro: If sensor is good but code returns after reset, the control board likely needs replacement; call a technician.
