Temperature sensor (thermistor) is faulty or disconnected.
Common causes
- Loose thermistor connection
- Faulty thermistor
- Wiring harness damage
How to fix it
- Unplug dryer, remove rear panel, check thermistor connector is secure
- Measure resistance of thermistor (should change with temperature)
- If resistance is open or shorted, replace thermistor
