The heating element is not functioning or has failed.
Common causes
- Defective heating element
- Faulty relay on control board
- Loose wiring to heater
How to fix it
- Unplug dishwasher and access the heater element at the sump.
- Use multimeter to test for continuity (should have low ohms).
- Check and reseat wiring harness connectors.
