Maytag Washer F21 Error Code
The washer is taking too long to drain water, usually due to a clog or pump failure.
Common causes
- Clogged drain hose or pump filter
- Kinked drain hose
- Faulty drain pump
How to fix it
- Check drain hose for kinks or blockages
- Clean the pump filter (located at bottom front)
- Ensure drain hose is no more than 8 feet above floor
