Maytag Dryer F21 Error Code
The dryer runs but does not heat, or the thermistor is reading incorrectly.
Common causes
- Plugged lint screen or vent
- Failed thermistor
- Faulty heating element or gas valve
How to fix it
- Clean lint screen and check vent for blockages
- Measure thermistor resistance with multimeter (should be ~10k ohms at 77°F)
- Test heating element continuity
