Frigidaire Refrigerator ER Error Code
The control board has detected a fault with the evaporator fan relay circuit.
Common causes
- Faulty evaporator fan motor
- Defective relay on control board
- Loose wiring to fan
How to fix it
- Unplug refrigerator and manually spin the evaporator fan (inside freezer) to see if it's stuck.
- Check fan motor resistance with multimeter. Typical good motor reads around 100-200 ohms.
- Inspect fan blade for ice buildup or obstructions.
⚠ When to call a pro: If fan motor tests bad, replace it. If motor is fine, the control board relay may be faulty.
