Frigidaire Oven/Range F10 Error Code

The oven temperature is rising uncontrollably, indicating a sensor or control board failure.

Common causes

  • Faulty oven temperature sensor
  • Shorted wiring
  • Failed control board

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the range and let it cool completely.
  2. Locate the oven temperature sensor (usually at back of oven interior).
  3. Measure resistance with a multimeter; it should be about 1100 ohms at room temperature.
  4. If resistance is far off, replace the sensor.
  5. Reconnect power; if code returns, the control board may need replacement.
⚠ When to call a pro: If replacing the sensor does not clear the code, call a technician to inspect the control board.
